Fighting Phantom Limb Pain (PLP) in Ukraine
#FightPLP was born out of the devastating amputation crisis caused by the Russo-Ukrainian war.
The Russian invasion of Ukraine has resulted in over 100,000 people with limb amputations, most of whom suffer from phantom limb pain (PLP). We are working to alleviate the invisible agony of PLP by providing education and hands-on training in evidence-based methods for its treatment and prevention. Addressing both treatment and prevention is essential, as the number of people enduring this pain continues to rise with each passing day of the war.
